MILAN SIGN MONTOLIVO & TRAORE








Both midfielders, Traorè arrives from French club Nancy and Montolivo has joined Milan after his contract at Fiorentina expired.
The Malian, 27, has signed a deal until June 2015, while Italian international Montolivo has committed his future to Milan until 2016.
Traorè revealed earlier this month that he was heading to the San Siro, while Montolivo underwent his medical in Milan on Wednesday.



AMBROSINI EXTENDS CONTRACT





The Captain had been one of many players whose deals were set to expire this summer.
While others such as Alessandro Nesta, Gennaro Gattuso, Pippo Inzaghi, Clarence Seedorf, Gianluca Zambrotta and Mark van Bommel will walk away, Ambrosini put pen to paper on a new contract.
The news was announced by Milan on their official website.

VAN BOMMEL REJOINS PSV




Van Bommel, who returns to the team he spent six years earlier in his career, confirmed over the weekend the rumours that he would be leaving Milan at the end of the season when his contract expired.
With Milan’s season now ended, the 35-year-old midfielder, who won a Scudetto and Supercoppa Italiana with Milan in an 18-month spell, has completed his move back to PSV.

BERLUSCONI: MILAN LOST THE SCUDETTO




Juventus sealed the Scudetto on Sunday evening after stretching their lead over Milan to an insurmountable four points with just one game to now play.
However, Berlusconi believes that whilst Juventus deserve credit for their success, it was also assisted by Milan’s shortcomings.

Milan closed the gap to just one point midweek and absolutely had to beat their rivals to keep that title race alive into the final round.
Milan’s injury list included Thiago Silva, Seedorf, Antonini, Pato, Pippo Inzaghi and Zambrotta. Boateng and Robinho pushed Cassano on to the bench while Muntari faced his former teammates.
