Kaka' Rejects Manchester City Offer

Manchester City have tabled an offer of around 150m euros for Kaka. The
player himself would receive around 15m euros per year.

Reports from the Milan dressing-room reveal that Kaka has had an
enormous arguement with his father, Bosco Leite, who is also his agent
and pushing for kaka to accept Manchester City's offer. Kaka has
refused/ rejected City's offer as he does not want to leave AC Milan.

There have been protests by fans in-front of Milan's headquarters in Via
Turati, opposing the sale of Kaka, with banners stating, "Dont Go Kaka".

Throughout the internet, fans have vented their anger at Kaka being
sold. There have also been threats directed at Adriano Galliani who has
been given armed guards for his protection and the promise of the
'biggest demonstration ever seen' if Milan sell Kaka.

Milan Sign Agger?

Milan are on the verge of announcing the signing of Liverpool defender
Daniel Agger on a permanent deal. The 24-year-old stopper has been a
long-time target of Milan and Sportmediaset claims a deal has been
reached after Adriano Galliani met with the player's agent, Per
Steffensen, in Milan. Agger will sign a four year deal, and will cost
Milan 9m euros.

There have been constant denials over the move but it seems that Milan
have finally landed Agger. Milan have been keen on strengthening the
back-line for some time, having achieved it this week as Agger's arrival
follows that of Felipe Mattioni from Gremio and Thiago Silva.

The Danish international will be available to play for Milan as soon as
all the paperwork is signed, sealed and delivered. Agger's contract with
Liverpool was set to run until 2010. However, a clause in the deal
allowed the player to find another club and leave from June 2008 onwards.

Agger will be eligible to play for Milan in the UEFA Cup, which is an
added bonus. Milan have wasted no time in signing top-class defenders.
Although the moves are positive, it begs the question: when Alessandro
Nesta's return from injury will be?

Maldini : "Kaka' sale would be disastrous"

Paolo Maldini has urged the Milan directors to pull out of negotiations,
as he believes the 26-year-old playmaker is virtually irreplaceable.

"This decision rests with the club but I can only stress that Kaka is
very important to us and that his exit would be hugely negative," said
Maldini.
"For me this deal sounds incredible. No player is worth this much, not
even Cristiano Ronaldo. But Ricky has said nothing about this to us. He
seems pretty calm about everything."

Kaka will have the final say over whether or not he leaves Milan for
Manchester City, and it seems it will take more than mere money to
convince him that Eastlands is worth the gamble.

Milan Considering Kaka' Offer

Manchester City have shaken the world of football by tabling an offer of
around 150m euros for Kaka.

Milan have always stressed that Kaka isn't for sale, but they are
severely tempted to cash in on the man they signed from Sao Paulo in 2004.
"There is an offer from Manchester City and it must be assessed by
Milan", a statement on the Milan Channel confirmed.
"We haven't made a decision and this is not a fait accompli. There are
still hours or days ahead".

Reports suggest that Kaka would become the highest-earning footballer in
the world if he completed the transfer and would receive around ?15m per
year.

Milan To Announce Pennant Capture?

The Corriere dello Sport reports that Milan have completed a swoop for
Liverpool winger Jermaine Pennant and have reached an agreement to sign
him next July when his contract with Liverpool will run out and the
25-year-old will become a free-agent.
The newspaper considers the move a done deal and reveals that AC Milan
will soon make it official.

Arsenal snapped up the midfielder from Notts County in 1999 and he was
handed his Premier League debut at the age of 16. He has been with
Liverpool since 2006, but they have decided not to take up the option to
invoke a one-year-extension on his current deal and he will be free to
walk away in the summer.

AC Milan Signed Felipe Mattioni

Felipe Mattioni is a 20-year-old right-back who has been linked with a
move to Italy for the large part of the season. He is tipped to become
the next Maicon due to his pace, strength and skill, as well as his
defending and attacking prowess.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, AC Milan have reached an agreement
with Gremio for the player, which will see him remain in Milan for the
next four seasons.

The player himself stands 177 cm tall and weighs 72 kg, and can play in
the midfield as well as at the back. He has made 19 appearances for
Gremio this season, and after it was announced that he has officially
signed for Milan, his agent confirmed the following:

"Felipe is already in Italy and tomorrow he will undertake a medical in
Milan. He has signed a contract for four and a half years and he can
commence playing immediately", as reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The signing of the defender will cost Milan around 6 million euro, and he
will be a great addition to their defensive ranks, as that is an area in
which creativity and pace is lacking.

A Milan official has commented on the signing of the player, by
declaring that "Mattioni is a world class player, and he is certainly
ready for the big stage that European football is".

Mattioni had been strongly linked to Juventus and Inter over time,
however Milan are the victors in the race for this up and coming star of
the future.
