David Beckham was pleased with his debut for AC Milan in a friendly against Hamburg in Dubai and is eyeing a Serie A bow against AS Roma this weekend.
The 33-year-old England midfielder, who has joined the Rossoneri on loan from LA Galaxy, lasted 45 minutes of the match with the German side and clearly enjoyed the new challenge.
He told the club's official website: "I am very happy with my first match in the Milan jersey. I am satisfied with my performance.
"I felt good in the middle of the field. My team-mates are extraordinary champions and playing with them is easy, because they put you in the ideal conditions to do so.
"I am ready to face my first match in the Italian league in the Milan shirt. It will be very exciting for me, regardless of whether I play or not.
"I am happy to be in this team and the days of intense work have really been very useful."
